WAREHAM – Wareham Police report that on Tuesday at 12:30 PM, three individuals were placed into custody by Wareham Police at Pezzoli Square on Main Street. Acting Police Chief John Walcek and Lt. John Gerard observed Thomas Tavares, 60, of Wareham and knew there was an active warrant for his arrest and placed him in custody. Ofc. James White arrived and two additional arrests were made. Barry Pires, 60, of West Wareham was charged with disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, indecent assault and battery and resisting arrest. Finally, Sarah Chiuchiolo, 52, of Wareham was placed into custody after it was determined there was an active warrant for her arrest. All three were transported to Wareham Police headquarters where they were processed before being transported to Wareham District Court.
