BARNSTABLE – Accidents on the Mid Cape Highway between exits 6 and 7 delayed traffic and made a busy afternoon for emergency personnel.
The state police reported multiple accidents just before 4 p.m.
West Barnstable Fire Chief Joe Maruca said an SUV rolled over eastbound before exit 6, but there were no injuries.
Crews then responded to another accident a few minutes later further east and transported one person the hospital.
“The roads are really slick near exit 6 and people are just driving too fast,” Maruca said.
Barnstable fire crews also responded to multiple accidents between exits 6 and 7 this afternoon and said a tow truck had driven off the road eastbound before 5 p.m.
