BUZZARDS BAY – If you enjoy long bicycle rides and care about Buzzards Bay, this event is just for you.
The Buzzards Bay Watershed Ride kicks off in just two weeks, and there’s still time to register alongside over 200 participants. The ride is brought to you by the Buzzards Bay Coalition.
The ride down the 35-mile length of Buzzards Bay travels through coastal areas, farmland, working waterfronts and quaint villages all the way down to a seaside celebration in Woods Hole.
The adventure is friendly for bicyclists of all ages and experience levels.
Eight time Watershed Ride participant Karl Audenaerde says he rights not only because he loves bicycling, but because he also loves Buzzards Bay.
“The Ride combines something I like doing with something I consider important: keeping the place I live in working order,” said Audenaerde.
The Buzzards Bay Watershed Ride is scheduled for September 30.
