YARMOUTH PORT – Firefighters responded to a reported house fire at 601 Route 6A about 2:30 PM. Smoke was showing from the attic when crews arrived. Officials discovered the fire in a bathroom ceiling fan and quickly put it out. All occupants evacuated and no injuries were reported. Mutual Aid covered the Yarmouth fire stations.
