CENTERVILLE – Members of the Centerville-Osterville-Marstons Mills (COMM) Fire Department were dispatched to Lake Wequaquet for a stranded sailboat with two occupants on board approximately 200 yards. from the boat ramp around 12:15 PM Friday. Upon arrival COMM firefighters deployed a 14’ inflatable boat and assisted the occupants and stranded boat back onto shore without further incident. Occupants, who were not in distress, were in constant contact with 3rd party on shore and were wearing life preservers at the time of incident.
