WEST BARNSTABLE – A car struck a utility pole in West Barnstable around 4:50 PM Friday. The crash happened on Main Street (Route 6A) at Maple Street. The pole was snapped and officials closed the road until Eversource could arrive and stabilize the situation. The driver was treated and released at the scene. The crash is under investigation by Barnstable Police.
