WELLFLEET – A man is safe after his canoe capsized in Wellfleet shortly after 7 a.m. The incident happened on Herring Pond off Black Pond Road. A civilian boater was able to pull the man out of the water and bring him to shore. EMTs were standing by but the man declined treatment.
