HYANNIS – At about 5:45 p.m. Friday afternoon there was a two-vehicle crash on Center Street at Dynaflow Drive. A Chevy Express work van appeared to have struck a Ford Explorer broadside on the passenger side. Hyannis Fire responded with an ambulance and their heavy rescue. A door had to be forced open for the removal of a female patient in the SUV. She was transported to Cape Cod Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. Barnstable Police are investigating the crash.
