Highbank Road in Yarmouth closed due to pole fire, traffic light out on Route 28

YARMOUTH – Yarmouth Police report that Highbank Road is closed between North Main St and Sheridan Rd due to a utility pole fire. Please seek alternate routes if possible.

Also the traffic lights at Route 28/North Main St intersection are OUT. Please use caution.

The road is expected to be closed for a considerable amount of time.

Eversource is reporting 818 customers without power.
