YARMOUTH – A large power outage hit Yarmouth around 5 PM Thursday. Eversource’s map is saying the outage was caused by equipment damage.
Meanwhile, about 500 customers are out in Centerville, the map is indicating this is due to maintenance.
As of 6:50 PM, Eversource spokesperson Matthew Chagnon tells CWN that the cause of the outage is still under investigation. He added they hope to have the outage restored by 7:30 PM.
Sometime after 8 PM, the Yarmouth outage was reduced to 85 customers.
Shortly after 9 PM, the Centerville outage appeared to be fully restored.
