FALMOUTH – Falmouth Police report that a driver ran from his vehicle after it was stopped by the Mass State Police on North Falmouth Highway, near Pebble Lane Wednesday afternoon. Falmouth Police, along with Bourne Police assisted the State Police with the search. The driver was described as a white male height 6’3” – 220 lbs. with short hair wearing a gray t-shirt and blue jeans. He was last seen running into the wooded area northeast of the intersection of Route 28 and Route 151. The State Police believe the driver has several outstanding arrest warrants, including numerous larceny by check offenses and traffic violations. At this time the search has been terminated and there does not appear to be any risk to the public. Anyone with information is urged to call police.
