COTUIT – A truck crashed into a house in Cotuit about 1:10 a.m. Thursday morning. The house at 4701 Falmouth Road (Route 28) at the intersection of Route 130 suffered extensive damage. The traffic lights at the intersection were also knocked out. The driver, 20-year-old Michael Gregory of Harwich, was not injured but was arrested for operating under the influence of liquor by Barnstable Police. A building inspector was called to check the integrity of the house. No one in the house was injured but the Red Cross was called to assist with temporary housing for the displaced occupants.
