BOURNE – A Bourne man was taken by Medflight to Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston Sunday morning after suffering an injury at Gallo Ice Arena, according to Bourne Fire Deputy Chief Joe Carrara.
The Bourne Fire Department was called to the arena at 8:32 and emergency medical technicians transported the man to Upper Cape Regional Technical High School to be flown by helicopter to Boston.
The man’s condition is unknown and Bourne Fire officials would not release the cause of the accident or the nature of the injury.
