CCYP to Transition to Remote Office

BARNSTABLE–Cape Cod Young Professionals (CCYP) will be transitioning to a fully remote office setup starting this month.

“We have opted to go more efficient with our operations and provide that work-life balance for our small staff, but also become a more efficient non-profit organization,” said CEO of CCYP Lauren Barker.

The organization, which works to connect and advance the young workforce in the area, previously leased an office from the Cape Cod & the Islands Association of Realtors.

Barker explained that the move allows the small staff to accomplish more.

“We’re all over the Cape anyways, from Falmouth to P-Town, and so this allows us more flexibility and versatility in terms of being able to offer programs and opportunities Cape-wide,” she continued.

CCYP has also entered partnerships with CapeSpace in Hyannis and Mashpee, as well as Chatham Works, for co-working spaces. This allows the organization to continue the utilization of business amenities.
