BARNSTABLE – A damaged utility pole led to about 5,500 Eversource customers losing power in Barnstable Monday morning.
Remote switches were able to restore power to over 4,000 customers within minutes of initial outages, though crews were in the area from 4 am through noon working on restorations.
The pole belonged to Verizon.
