RideAway Adventures Donates 18 Bicycles to CapeAbilities

WEST YARMOUTH – RideAway Adventures has donated 18 lightly used bikes to the CapeAbilities Thrift Store in West Yarmouth.

The CapeAbilities Thrift store specializes in the resale of donated items and the bikes will be a great addition to their already fantastic selection of local art and home décor. The money raised by the donation will help to benefit CapeAbilities’ non-profit efforts.

RideAway Adventures has been in business on the Cape for ten years, operating out of Mashpee and Sandwich. RideAway began doing bike rentals over the summer of 2018 in addition to their other adventure activities of kayaking and paddle boarding.

Cape Abilities is a disability services agency that has a long and distinguished history as a 501 (c) (3) Massachusetts nonprofit organization that provides jobs, homes and other services and supports for people with disabilities across Cape Cod.

The mission of Cape Abilities is to serve individuals with disabilities by educating, counseling, providing residential, social, therapeutic and employment supports to empower them to achieve meaningful and valued roles in society.

RideAway Adventures works with a variety of non-profit organizations and prides itself on philanthropic efforts and once their season ended saw the opportunity to donate these bikes to assist CapeAbilities in their fundraising efforts.
