Barbara Fasano performs with her husband Eric Comstock as the headliners of CabaretFest.
PROVINCETOWN – Tickets are selling quickly for the performance of a musical couple from New York during Provincetown’s annual CabaretFest.
Eric Comstock and Barbara Fasano will perform Downtown Abbey Road: The Best of Britain at the Crown & Anchor on June 3 at 10 p.m.
The musical duo, who are also married, are headlining the 17th annual CabaretFest.
Comstock and Fasano, who are recognized as the nightclub world’s most celebrated team, have won a total of seven Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs awards, including three for Major Duo.
They also still perform and record individually. Fasano’s new album “Busy Being Free” won the 2016 MAC Award for Major Recording of the Year.
The inspiration for “The Best of Britain” came from Comstock’s idols: Frank Sinatra and Mel Torme who each recorded an album in the U.K. featuring several songs written by Brits.
The performance will also celebrate the romantic and swinging music of World War II in keeping with the theme of CabaretFest, which runs from June 1-4.
