WAREHAM – A Wareham teenager is facing armed robbery charges following an incident at the Cumberland Farms on Depot Street early Sunday morning.
Officers were called to the store after a masked man pulled what appeared to be a handgun on the clerk around 3 a.m.
Just a minute later, police noticed the teen crossing Route 6 and Route 28. A subsequent investigation led to the teen’s arrest a few hours later.
Officers found an Airsoft pistol in the area following the robbery, and found cash believed to be from the store at the teenager’s home.
The suspect was arraigned Tuesday.
