BARNSTABLE – A West Yarmouth man accused of killing a kitten early last month, has been found not guilty in Barnstable District Court.
46-year-old Randall Newell, Jr. was arrested on December 3 at his home on Jerusha Lane after witnesses said he crushed the six month old kitten.
Newell was charged with animal cruelty and killing, maiming or poisoning a cat. the killing and maiming charge was dismissed and he was found not guilty of animal cruelty.
