Red Raider senior Margot Rice finished out her career with a 9-point, four-steal night while 8th grade center Carly Whiteside turned in a solid eight-point, 10 rebound game.

Red Raider seniors Angela MacLeod, co-captain Molly Tilton and Shanique Mason all played in their final game as a Red Raider basketball player in this affair. Tilton had two points, MacLeod had five points (including her final career three-pointer in the fourth quarter) and Mason had three rebounds and a steal.

Dartmouth’s Jen Wheaton led all scorers with 17 points and went 7-12 from the free throw line, while Lily Pontes netted nine points and went 5-5 from the line. All totaled, Dartmouth went 14-21 from the charity stripe, but that was a place that was not friendly for the host Red & White.

Barnstable shot 5-18 from the foul line and had it done better might have pulled out a win to end the season. Shooting overall hurt Barnstable throughout this affair as the girls went 9-40 from the floor.

Cape Cod Academy’s Victoria Alberico netted seven points in her last game as a Seahawk, but it was not nearly enough to stave off the Mashpee girls who were led by Sam Fraser’s game-high 15 points.

Fraser was joined by 7th grader Jordan Hue who had 10 points and Raegan Silvia who had eight points.

Becca White had four points for the Seahawks, following behind Alberico.
