Hyannis got the win at home on the newly-dedicated Judy Scarafile Field at McKeon Park last night. The Harbor Hawks allowed 11 hits but were able to hold the Braves to 5 runs in their 8-5 victory.
The Falmouth Commodores increased their first-place lead in the West Division to 5 games with a win at home. First baseman Tristan Gray went 2-3 with 3 RBIs and a run scored in the 12-0 shutout against Cotuit.
It was Wareham 3, Harwich 2 in a close game at Spillane Field. Colton Shaver, who will be a Gateman representative in the Cape League’s home run contest, knocked in the go-ahead run with a 2-run homer in the bottom of the 6th.
The four teams that didn’t play last night will play tonight. Starting at 5, Orleans heads to Y-D for an East Division match-up, and at 7, Chatham hosts Brewster.
