BOURNE – Fire broke out in the attic of a home in the Pocasset section of Bourne around 7:15 p.m. The fire at 324 Barlow’s Landing Road appeared to have started in the attic of a ranch-style house. Firefighters initially had difficulty in locating the fire but were able extinguish it. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
