BOURNE – Opening night of this year’s Barnstable County Sheriff’s Citizen Academy is May 8th .
This and most remaining sessions will be convened on the five Mondays to follow, 6 PM to 8 PM, skipping only Memorial Day. Classes will be at the Barnstable County Correctional Facility in Bourne.
Virtually all aspects of what the Sheriff’s Office does will be covered – running a jail, K9, emergency phone dispatch, solving crimes, and more. To apply, log onto the Sheriff’s website:
