
WELLFLEET – A boat fire was reported at the town pier in Wellfleet shortly before 9:30 p.m. The fire reportedly started in the engine room of a sport fishing vessel moored by the Harbormaster’s Office. Engines from Truro and Eastham were requested to assist at the scene. No injuries were reported. Wellfleet Chief Richard Pauley Jr. reported the fire was extinguished within about 20 minutes. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
