HYANNIS – Firefighters responded to 48 Bristol Ave in Hyannis for a garage fire just after 7:30 PM. Upon arrival Engine 826 reported an active fire in the attached garage of the 1 story ranch style house. Crews rapidly deployed a line and quickly knocked the fire down. Due to the effective response the fire was contained to the garage with no further extension to the house. Engine 826 and Tower 829 crews overhauled all the contents of the garage. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
