HYANNIS – At 8:30 PM Wednesday night there was a head-on accident on Route 132 and Phinney’s Lane in Hyannis.
A red GMC Sierra pickup truck went off the roadway after colliding with a Dodge Durango and almost struck a traffic light control box. A Honda CR-V was also involved and it appears that it may have struck the rear of one the vehicles in the original crash. Five ambulances were requested at the scene for victims with unknown injuries.
All were transported to Cape Cod Hospital by Hyannis, Barnstable and Centerville-Osterville-Marstons Mills ambulances. Barnstable police are investigating.
