WEST BARNSTABLE – Heavy rains may have been a factor in a rollover crash on Route 6 in West Barnstable Friday evening. The crash happened on the westbound side between exits 5 and 4. The vehicle rolled over in the median woods. Sandwich and West Barnstable responded to the scene. The driver was extricated and taken to Cape Cod Hospital for evaluation. State Police are investigating the crash. Tropical downpours caused ponding of water on sections of the highway.
