UPDATED: Missing Orleans man found safe after extensive search

ORLEANS – A missing Alzheimer’s patient who was the subject of a search for more than 12 hours has been found safe.

Robert Barry, 89, had last seen been seen around 9 p.m. last night at his home on Uncle Israel Road. The intensive search included units on foot and ATVs as well as a helicopter.

Shortly before noon, Robert Barry, 89, was found in an area nearby his residence on Uncle Israel Road. Mr. Barry was in good health, and was not in need of medical attention. He was reunited with his family a short time later.
