EAST DENNIS – Around 12:45 p.m. Saturday a young man parked his Toyota 4Runner and left it running in the parking lot of Grumpy’s restaurant on Route 6A while he ran in to pick up a to-go order. When he came back out he found that his vehicle had rolled over the edge of the parking lot and dropped into the marsh about ten feet below the level of the lot.
Dennis fire, police and natural resources personnel responded to the scene. A crew from Northside Auto Body pulled the Toyota back on dry land around 1:30 p.m. It would not start and had to be hauled away. There were no injuries.
