Yarmouth vehicle stop leads to arrest for cocaine possession

SOUTH YARMOUTH – The Yarmouth Police Department reports that on Tuesday at 1:37 a.m. Yarmouth Police Patrol Officers Christopher Marino, Christopher Eccleston and Alexander Xiarhos conducted a motor vehicle stop of a 2015 Honda CRV on Route 28 in South Yarmouth.

The stop resulted in the arrest of Andrew D. Lockhart, 45, of Marstons Mills for operating with defective equipment and possession of cocaine.

Lockhart was processed at Yarmouth Police Department headquarters and is scheduled for arraignment Tuesday in the Barnstable District Court.

  1. When the Cape news posts stuff about people’s arrests they really should do a update on outcome of case! All charges were dropped in court and case was dismissed. Pretty pathetic that a great man got blamed for some loser drug dealers stuff that was in there car!
