Ok, so maybe the word “star” is a bit of a stretch but I definitely started my 15min of fame at an early age with a big help from my parents. My mom and dad (Kris Jenner and Dina Lohan if you can imagine) really wanted me to become famous even more that I did.
They spent tons of money, time, and effort into helping me craft acting, singing, and dancing. I am not sure what they were expecting because as a teen I ballooned to over 250lbs and was 5’4…it wasn’t pretty.
Cut to 2004, I am 17 years old and got accepted to acting school in NYC for college. Psyched, I get ready to attend the same school as the Olsen Twins, be a starving artist for a few years, then land a big role like Matt LeBlanc and bet set for life!
Well, it didn’t actually end up like that. My dad got deployed with the military and I end up staying in Boston to care for my family and attending Boston College but still had the acting bug.
I end up on a Boston based reality TV show called “Secret Lives” about people who are hiding a big secret and as the season goes on, the secret is revealed.
Well as you can tell from the clip…there really was no secret about me but in the eyes of the producers me “coming out” was going to a BIG SECRET so we shot the show.
It was owned by a company that eventually went under so I was very happy to think that nobody was going to see my Lifetime-like story and my TERRIBLE choice of haircuts…until 2008.
In 2008, I am 21 years old…skinny, fabulous, and well adjusted…
Then a woman by the name of OPRAH decided to open the skeletons to my closet. She purchased the network and all of its shows to put on her new network and I went from never seeing my bloated face again to being aired in 47 different countries!!
Not the worst part…to help launch the company, Delta Airlines started airing certain shows of the new network and that’s right…my episode was one of them for a whole month. Just a quick statistic, Delta flies 5,400 flights PER DAY!
Sooooooo lesson learned…anything you say can and will be used against you in reality TV.
