Cape & Island Theater Coalition Presents Sold Out Screening of “Alone In Berlin”

The Friends of the Cape & Islands Theater Coalition will present a Reception, Film Screening and Panel Discussion at the Cape Cod Museum of Art on April 29th  on “Alone in Berlin”. The film explores the suppression of free expression in Hitler’s 1940 Nazi Germany. This 2016 English language film stars 2-time Oscar winner Emma Thompson and 3-time Golden Globe nominee Brendan Gleeson.

 

The film will be preceded by the reception in the Museum galleries, where attendees will be able to view the Cape Cod Museum of Art’s exhibition, “Freedom of Expression“. The film will be followed by a panel discussion and Q & A. Panelists as of this release are Nina Schuessler (Playwright and Producing Artistic Director at Cape Cod Theatre Company), Jerry Forman (Attorney and Author) and Tim Miller (Features Editor and Film Critic for the the Cape Cod Times).  

The Museum’s “Freedom of Expression” exhibition, is a national juried art show based on the broad ArtSpring festival theme of free expression.
