The children’s chorus is a dynamic program at the Cape Conservatory for children ages 8-14.

In the choir’s spring performance, the students will sing selections from a variety of musical styles, historic periods and languages.

In the Cape Cod Children’s Chorus, students experience the power and joy of choral music while pursuing the highest levels of excellence in vocal training and musicianship.

The chorus is hosting placement auditions for new members on April 10 and 11 for the 2017-18 season.

Interested students should contact the conservatory at capeconservatory.org.

Founded in 1956, the Conservatory serves more than 1,200 students of all ages and skill levels in over 80 programs, as well as private and group vocal and instrumental instruction.

Other Conservatory program offerings include a full suite of classical ballet classes as well as contemporary dance classes, creative art programs and cultural day trips to art museums around the region.

In 2010, the Conservatory merged with the Cape Symphony to form the largest arts organization in the region, offering educational and entertainment opportunities to Cape Cod and beyond.
