Cape Cod Five Supports Cape Teachers with Educational Mini-Grants

ORLEANS – Empowering Students to Globally Connect, Vernal Pools: Restoring Wetlands Habitats and Crime Scene Photo Documentation were among the winners at Cape Cod Five’s 17th Annual Educational Mini Grants Awards and Reception at Cape Cod Community College.

During the event, 86 total grants were presented by The Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank’s Charitable Foundation Trust, of which 64 were awarded to teachers at 35 Cape Cod schools.

Since the Educational Mini-Grants program’s inception in 2000, 993 grants totaling nearly $375,000 have been awarded.

All kindergarten through 12th grade public educators from the communities served by Cape Cod Five were invited, and more than 140 people attended.
