Cape Cod National Seashore Presents Jackson Gillman on August 29

WELLFLEET – Jackson Gillman is so adept at changing into a wide variety of colorful characters, that he’s called the “Stand-Up Chameleon”.

He might be a salty lobsterman one moment, and then one of the various creatures he comes across while fishing the next.

Join Jackson on Tuesday, August 29 at 7:00 pm at the Salt Pond Visitor Center for a rollicking mix of interactive songs, movement, and stories guaranteed to delight and enchant families and young people.

Jackson will draw on his repertoire from the deep to the starry skies to celebrate nature with an eye to where we fit in and how we can help sustain our world.

Jackson Gillman’s performances for families, children, and educational groups reach out and touch the audience, making them laugh and think, and leaving them delighted.

You might find song, dance, mime, or sign language incorporated into his interactive and educational performances; whatever works to bring audiences of all ages along for a ride into his wildly imaginative world of creative adventure.

Jackson has performed at Salt Pond many times with educational shows that engage and delight all ages.

This upcoming program is part of the annual “Tuesday Evening Series” at Salt Pond Visitor Center in Eastham.

Held weekly in July and August in the air-cooled comfort of the visitor center auditorium, programs focus on the diverse natural and cultural resources of the Outer Cape and are suitable for all ages. Programs are free of charge and accessible.
