BARNSTABLE – Fighter jets will be flying over Eastern Massachusetts Thursday morning at about 9 o’clock.
The five F-15 fighter jets will be taking off from Barnes Air National Guard Base and will stay below 5,000 feet.
They were originally scheduled to fly over Cape Cod at 8:32 a.m. before heading to Nantucket for 8:42 a.m. and then will move onto Martha’s Vineyard for 8:47 a.m. The planes are running late, according to a spokeswoman.
The flyovers were originally scheduled for Wednesday morning but were moved back a day because of weather conditions.
