FALMOUTH- For over 20 years, the Falmouth Police Department have been celebrating National Night Out with the citizens of Falmouth.
Similar to last year, Falmouth Police are hosting National Night Out on Tuesday, August 5 between 6pm-8pm at the Falmouth Police Headquarters.
Police are inviting all of Falmouth’s Crime Watch groups as well as residents.
Among other things, the event will include tours of the police station, activities for children including face painting, fingerprinting, and having their pictures taken.
There will be a K-9 demonstration, displays of equipment, and information tables.
Among the agencies represented will be; the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Department, Falmouth Fire Department, Falmouth Marine and Environmental Services, U.S. Coast Guard, Red Cross, TRIAD, Falmouth Prevention Partnership and Homeland Security.
Also, there will be free food, refreshments and ice cream served for those in attendance.
