Jobless Numbers Released

HYANNIS – According to the Cape and Islands Workforce Investment Board, for the week ending September 13^th, jobless claims numbered 280 thousand.

That was a decrease of 36 thousand from the week prior.

The previous week’s numbers were revised upward by one thousand to 316 thousand and the four week moving average was just under three hundred thousand.

That’s a decrease of 47 hundred from the previous week’s revised average.
