SANDWICH – “Sandwich, you’ve inspired us!”

That’s the slogan Frito Lay’s is using on a new lobster roll-flavored potato chip the company is introducing.

The television advertisement for the new chip flavor was shot in the Town of Sandwich earlier this month.

The red bag with the familiar Lay’s logo also sports a traditional looking lobster roll in a red and white paper holder. In the background is the Sandwich Boardwalk.

On the back of the bag is a description of how the flavor came to be inspired by the Town of Sandwich.

Sandwich Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Jay Pateakos said he does not yet know when the new flavor will be in stores or when the television commercial will be aired. He said he will make an announcement when he finds out that information.
