Dr. Andrew Jorgenson takes over the role after serving as the organization’s Associate Medical Director for the last two years. He is tasked with overseeing positive patient outcomes, patient safety, and quality care.
“We are very grateful for the opportunity to promote Dr. Jorgensen to lead our medical program at an exciting time of planned growth for all three of our clinical sites,” said Outer Cape Health Services CEO Patricia Nadle. “In addition to providing strong patient care, his clinical interests include building upon our patient centered medical home model, behavioralhealthintegration, provider wellness, and communityhealthaccess. Dr. Jorgensen will undoubtedly take on this new role with great vigor and passion, with these important interests in mind.”
Jorgenson takes over for longtime Medical Director Dr. Barbara Prazak.

Jorgenson is a full-time Provincetown resident and is a graduate of St. Louis University School of Medicine.
Outer Cape Health Services runs community health centers in Provincetown, Wellfleet, and Harwich and operates pharmacies in Wellfleet and Provincetown.
