PTV Announces Spring and Summer Classes

PROVINCETOWN – Provincetown Community Television (PTV) will hold basic and intermediate classes for community members throughout the spring and summer.

Participants of all skill levels are welcome to attend Camera Basics, iPhone Filmmaking and Editing Nuts & Bolts.

Experienced PTV members can sign up for the advanced classes.

Classes are free with a $30 annual PTV membership.

The classes are taught by PTV’s award-winning staff, Public Access Director Heather Reed and Executive Director Amy Davies.

Sign up is available online at provincetowntv.org under the Workshops and Events tab.

Classes this season include Studio Directing, Event Videography, Intro to Cinematography and Project Tutorials.

PTV is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Community Media Center that serves the Town of Provincetown.

PTV provides low to no cost media training, education and access to technology to the Provincetown community.

PTV is dedicated providing an accessible media forum for all Provincetown residents, non-profit organizations, governmental and educational institutions.

PTV was the winner of the Alliance for Community Media Northeast Regional Overall Excellence Award in the budget category of under $200,000 for 2016.
