“Where Tomorrow’s Stars, Shine Tonight” ~ Celebrating 130 years

Wednesay Night’s CCBL Championship (8/12): Gonzaga’s Brandon Bailey was brilliant for six innings and allowed just one hit to the host Hyannis Harbor Hawks as the Sox took home their second straight Cape League championship title… Donnie Walton (Oklahoma St.) went 3-6, Gio Brusa (Pacific) and Stanford’s Tommy Edman each had three hits and Cole Billingsley (S. Alabama) belted a three-run homer in the 8th to seal the title win… Walton and Vanderbilt’s Ben Bowden were named playoffs co-MVPs… it was the 5th Y-D Cape League title in the past 11 seasons….
