MASHPEE – Residents in Mashpee tonight head to Town Meeting, where they will consider 23 articles.
The big ticket item on the warrant is a proposed bylaw to control nitrogen loading. Residents will consider placing restrictions on fertilizer use in town.
Town officials believe if those restrictions are put in place, Mashpee could save up to 40 million in potential wastewater costs.
The meeting is at 7 at Mashpee High School.
