OAK BLUFFS – Two women were seriously injured when their moped collided with a dump truck in Oak Bluffs. Police say it appears the women lost control of the moped on Barnes Road. The dump truck operator saw what was happening and slowed and pulled over as far as he could. Officials say the moped collided with the rear of the truck. One of the women had a leg amputated. Both were flown to Boston hospitals. The crash remains under investigation.
