SANDWICH – Sandwich firefighters were kept busy for a time Thursday afternoon. First a call came in around 3 p.m. for a brush fire off Cotuit Road along the power lines. about a 1/4 acre was scorched. About 5:30 p.m. another brush fire was reported at Camp Lyndon off Stowe Road. Mutual aid was requested to assist at that fire which was reportedly close to an acre in size.
