BARNSTABLE – Icy roads were a likely factor in a head-on crash in Barnstable that left three people injured. The crash happened shortly before 9 p.m. on Phinney’s Lane near Hathaway’s Pond. Ambulances from Hyannis and Centerville-Osterville-Marstons Mills FDs responded mutual aid to the scene. The three victims were taken to Cape Cod Hospital with unknown injuries. Barnstable Police shut down that stretch of Phinney’s Lane and called for a sander. Police are continuing to investigate the crash.
