HARWICH – Harwich Police and Fire responded to a overturned wood chipper on Long Pond Drive at Oak Street around 11:30 AM Friday. The man driving the truck apparently lost control backing down a driveway with a steep slope when the chipper flipped on it’s side.
Buckler’s Towing was able to right the machine that had minimal damage. Long Pond Drive was closed for approximately one hour. There were no injuries.
