BARNSTABLE – A driver is facing charges after his Kia sedan left Route 6A near the Barnstable/West Barnstable elementary school and struck a fence and stone wall Wednesday evening. The responding Barnstable ambulance came across the driver, identified by police as a 21-year-old Centerville man, about a quarter mile away from the scene. The man was taken to Cape Cod Hospital. He was criminally cited by Barnstable Police for operating to endanger, marked lanes violation and leaving the scene of property damage.
