YARMOUTH – For the second time in as many days, rescuers were called to Smugglers Beach to aid a person reportedly stung by a jellyfish. The latest incident happened early Sunday afternoon. Another person was also taken to Cape Cod Hospital from the beach Saturday evening. The Yarmouth Division of Natural Resources noted Thursday an increase in jellyfish in the area. They believed the increase may have been tied to the passage of Hurricane Gert off shore.
