BARNSTABLE – At about 2 PM Thursday, two vehicles collided on Independence Drive and Breeds Hill Road in Barnstable Village. It appeared a Toyota Rav4 pulling out of Breeds Hill Road was struck by a Ford F-150 pickup truck. The Toyota then went into the center median. Barnstable Fire used the Jaws of Life to remove the drivers door of the Rav4. That driver was transported to Cape Cod Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. The two passengers of the Toyota along with the driver of the pickup truck declined medical treatment. Due to another ambulance call in Barnstable the West Barnstable FD responded with their ambulance. Barnstable Police are investigating the crash.
